Outback Steakhouse Gift Card. Outback closed in Hawaii on Sunday and was not advised until Sunday.

Hello, Please advise if we can receive $25 reimbursement for the gift card. Outback closed on Sunday but customers were not advised. Even the employees were not told of closing until Saturday.

Gift card issue

I had 2 gift cards from Outback Steakhouse that were given to me before Covid 2020. I check both card's balance and showed both as invalid. On the 11th of this month I sent pictures of both cards to Bloomingbrand.com, card services. On Feb 15, I was sent 2 new e-gift cards to replace the invalid original cards.

Very Very Unhappy

I would much rather call you, and I'd gladly accept a call from your offices. Went to Out Back in Aiken SC Sat night, Nov 4, 2023.

My sister and I, sat at the bar as it was fairly empty. 4 to 8 minutes passed without a single greeting of any sort, or a "I'll be right with you", NOTHING from the bartender or the second person working with her. finally, she brings our menu's, sets them down and walks away. I said "Excuse me, can we order a drink please?".

she turns back, opens her ipad, and looks at us. does not say, what can I get you, what would you like,,, NOTHING... she just stares waiting for us to order??? RUDE.

so we did. drinks came within a normal amount of time. meanwhile, she's laughing and joking around with a co-worker, totally ignoring everyone at the bar and by this time, 3 people sat at one end and a couple on the other corner. THEN, to my surprise, she's eating food from somewhere under the counter and we all see this???

She finally get a drink order from the couple at the end.

I think the other 3 left as they were tired of waiting. now she comes back to us, again, opens her pad, does not say "what would you ladies like, what can I get you.. NOTHING".. just looks at us.

so we order. our salads arrived, i have an empty drink glass, she did not offer a second drink. After 4 pass-by's by her, I said, "excuse me, may I please have another martini" oh, yes she says. this one took about 10 minutes to get???

our food arrives. I asked for my steak to be medium (because sirloin is better cooked, a filet would be rare)... my steak was rare... I took a bite, it was ok, but NOT hot.

the veggies and baked potato were hot and wonderful. meanwhile, couple at end of the bar still waiting for food. His food comes out, he's eating, he's DONE, his lady friends food still had not come out. The server never said once "Oh my, you don't have your food, let me check on that for you???

" nothing. at this point, we are all talking across the bar about how awful this service is, how she doesn't have her food...

an elderly couple sat next to us. 10 minutes goes by, they have not even been greeted. another elderly couple sat beside them...10 minutes, again, no greeting, no drink, WORSE SERVICE IN MY LIFE...

I joked with the man by us, "sir, would you like me to go back there and make you a drink?" we laughed.. he said, I wish you could, this is ridiculous.

We were done eating, asked to place an order to go, a wedge salad and fried mushrooms. 20 minutes went by, 25, 30... I asked two people, 3 diff times to please check on our to go food.

meanwhile, both our drink are empty. We were never offered another drink, a glass of water, NOTHING!!! nothing... I then asked a server passing by to please ask the manager to come out to speak with me...

THE MANAGER DID NOT COME OUT AT ALL!!!

Finally, 49 minutes later, our to go came out... 49 minutes.??? almost an hour and the place was NOT that busy

I have been a server and a restaurant manager. Who trained (or did not) train these people.

YOU ALWAYS GREET SOMEONE IMMEDIATELY... YOU ALWAYS KEEP THEIR GLASS FULL (that makes more money for Outback, and enhances their tip). I was appauled.

I would like to know what Outback will do to make this right. The server never told us her name, I think Candice if I recall, from the check.

Please fix this, make it right. Outback in Clearwater FL, was NEVER LIKE THIS...

I am incredibly furious about the recent food pick-up experience. After spending over $100 on three dinners, my expectations were high, but what I received was beyond disappointing.

Instead of a complete meal, I was handed a solitary piece of bread and found that two side dishes were missing.

When I called to address this issue, not only did I receive no apology, but I was met with a dismissive response, as if I should have scrutinized my order like I was at a fast-food drive-thru. This level of disregard for a customer's investment and trust is not only infuriating but also completely unacceptable.

My family and I waited 30 minutes for a table. Then we waited over 30 minutes fir our food. When I complained the server Chelsea, slammed the food on the table. NY kids began to cry. I will never go there again!

Restaurant closing

Learned of the Cedar Rapids Iowa Outback closing from a friend. We have none of the alternate restaurants in our area listed on the back of the card AND, most of all, no notification from the company about the closing or how we can get reimbursed for our two gift cards. The cards were just purchased in December 2023. Why offer these cards if you knew you were closing in two months? This is unacceptable and deceptive!nonenoneno

Baked potato was hard! I called to request extra bread but didnt get it but the bread I got it was so hard on the bottom, hard, I couldnt break or eat the bread. Thats a favorite for most! Not many fried onions on the steak, not a well seasoned steak. This was my second bad order within 6 weeks. I didnt complain about the first one. They were delivered by Grubhub so I couldnt take them back! Unhappy customer.

Ordered a top sirloin medium rare and it was inedible. Called the store. Still did not receive a refund. You had to saw through it and it was beyond chewy. Better reserved cut for temps over medium well.

Drugs being used and sold

Tiffany Gould and April forrider are using drugs and selling drugs from work. They are sending pictures messages to me from the store trying to get me to come to the marion location and fight. My family and I watched her sell drugs outside. She's very rude along with Tiffany she rolls her eyes at customers. Something needs done or I'm going further up the chain till those two are fired.

Everything except for the meat and the blooming onion are pre-made and microwaved prior to serving the baked potatoes are soaked in seasoned water and then microwaved to be served all desserts are microwaved all pastas are put in plastic baggies with seasonings and microwaved prior to serving pumpernickel bread comes out of a bag and then is reheated prior to serving

Manager stealing tips

After eating there, we were informed that we could NOT tip our server with cash, we could only tip with our credit card. After speaking with other employees, they said the manager said they would be fired if they accept cash tips & he also takes 6% of their tips from them.

So your manager is stealing from the lowest paid employees. That is disgusting.

I will also be contacting the Michigan Labor Board & reporting this.

Initally, i thought this was a corporate decision but i ate at a different Outback tonight & found out your Brighton, MI manager is just a thief.

I hope this manager is fired & he has to reimburse all the employees

DO THE RIGHT THING & RETURN THE TIP MONEY

User's recommendation: Tell your friends & family to not work as a server at Brighton location(another location, confirmed corporate does allow cash tips) they also take away 6% of servers tips & makes them give to dishwashers & busers & bartenders who all earn more hourly than servers

Steak was all fat, salad had a huge piece of the core in it and the shrimp was so fishy tasting couldnt even eat it. Even the couple next to us asked about our shrimp tasting awful. The servers were to busy flirting with each other to take care of their customers. Blowing kisses to each other every time they saw each other. All in all a $100 wasted.

I was looking forward to going to out back in Pendleton sc boy was I disappointed my 40 meal was awful my prime rib was dry as a bone waiter didnt even offer to fix paid my bill and left probably never go back so upset had my heart set on a good steak for a hard week at work my gift to myself I work as a Cna hard job to send 40 on a meal to come back disappointed star
