We went to the Saginaw MI for lunch last Saturday 12/9/23. We were a group of 4.
Arrived at 12:00pm and ordered drinks and appetizer. It was 1 hour until our appetizer showed up and another 1 hour 15 minutes until our salads were served. Our meals arrived around 1:45PM. We asked for our bill 3 times before we received it.
I asked for the manager and she took 15 minutes to arrive at our table. She then verbally apologized (she did not offer us any monetary compensation) and cashed us out.
Our simple meal for 4 took 2.5 hours!! I am horribly disappointed with this experience!!

Disappointed Customers
On Christmas Eve my husband, myself and our grandaughter went to eat at Outback on Whitesburg Dr. in Huntsville,Al.
We are raising our grandaughter and I used my Christmas bonus to treat us that night. We were so excited because this was a big deal for us. We ordered a blooming onion, My husband and grandaughter ordered a ribeye each and I had a filet with lobster. We received the blooming onion about 15 minutes after ordering.
It was full of dried flour in the center and the onion wasnt cooked thoroughly, 20 minutes later our salad was served. 30 minutes went by and then we received our food. My granddaughters ribeye was over cooked and very tough. My husbands tough as well.
Mine was undercooked, but that was fine. I later took it home and finished grilling it. When I had pointed out the dry flour all in the onion, the waitress said she was sorry and did we want her to take it? I said no they are eating the outside of it still.
There wasnt that many customers inside at that time. Our bill came to $121.37. It took a while after we finished to get the ticket. I had to walk up front and give it to the hostess.
We were so disappointed that night. Im 66 years old and clean a house and 2 offices for a living. I was so let down that night, we all were. I just wanted you to know what happened to us on Christmas Eve.
That was a lot of money for us to have not gotten a good meal. Thank you for your time, sincerely Teresa Moon
Resolved: Half of the foodsalty and the other half was undercooked
Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. There was an apology and get the an order replacement whenever I want to eat there again.

Customer service and product wuality
Terrible 13 oz ribeye( absolutely no flavor and FULL of fat), out of bread (Monday @ 7:00pm) overcooked Choc.Thunder (covered in melted Ice cream),terrible salad dressing (blue chz. All OB RESTAURANTS Used to be very good- however not any more.
With the Poor experiences we have experienced with the quality of the foodwe probably will no longer return to OB steakhouses. To receive such a poor meal repeatedly for the cost is no longer acceptable.
We can go to other steakhouses and get a very good meal for about the same cost and a much better experience. I tried to submit my receipt from the Viera OC of $42.23 on 12/18 @ 19:54, #0241, however the website was not functioning properly and kept directing me to the gift certificate section

We ordered a king size prime rib and askeked server for medium rare it came out of kitchen blood red so we sent it back to only have the same piece within a few minutes come back to table brown on top and severely overcooked terrible experience they were extremely busy however our bill for me and my wife with appetizers was well over 100 dollars and this visit was 8 days ago been to same winter haven location several times and normally that is our order and its been great missed the mark bigtime even blooming onion was fried drastically too much almost a burnt taste and the reason I decided to share my bad experience is me and my wife would normally go back there however we went to a road house steakhouse instead If I am going to spend 100 dollars plus for me and my wife I expect a much better food experience than I received the waitress did ask when check was brought how it was and our response was ok !!!

My name is Peggy Howell, age 72, Naval veteran, divorced from cheating spouce, have cancer, live in Lake Charles, La 70611, phone 337-309-****, mother of 3 and grandmother of 6.
I went to Outback today to meet up with a couple lady friends that I havnt seen in 2 or 3 years. We all have health issues but was excited to see each other again.
It was Friday at 2.20 pm when we arrived. The place was mostly empty. We had a young waitress handling 2 tables. She never asked us what we wanted to drink for several minutes.
Finally I requested a drink from the bar and water. The other two ladies asked for Virgin drinks from the bar. We were told they didn't serve that multiple times. She just didn't seem to understand that we wanted the drinks minus the alcohol.
When she came back to the table she brought only 1 glass of water. Then she disappeared so we asked another worker for 2 more glasses of water. Finally we got our bar drinks and little loaf of bread. Again we couldn't find her so we asked another worker for a spoon.
We had been sitting there close to a hour and she never asked us what we wanted to order. Other customers were coming in and getting food. So we decided to pay for our drinks, leave and go to another restraunt.
She never apologized or tried to talk us into staying. On our way out at 3.25pm, we passed a booth with two ladies that had been seated about 5 minutes prior.
Since the waitress was hanging at their booth we assumed they were friends. I happened to hear negative remarks being made about us. One remark the woman said loud enough so I would hear her was "racist". I stopped in my tracks.
I asked her what did she say. Yes we were white ladies and they were black. But our complaints had nothing to do with her color and everything to do with poor service. She was still standing by their booth.
The black customer started yelling at me when I told her what our complaint was. She didn't want to hear it, she wanted to cause a scene about race. I just walked away and left her screaming and stopped at the front and let the young man know how insulted we three were about the service and the rude customer and the waitress that didn't try to fix anything or stop anything.
In my opinion that customer should have been asked to leave or shut up for attacking other customers. That waitress needs to find a job she can do.
That restraunt use to be higher class customers but it is going downhill fast. We will never step foot in that place or recommend it to anyone. The staff looked like mostly Mexican and some blacks. I dont know if that has anything to do about their poor service or not.
No one tried to get us to stay, apologize, offer to rush our food out or attempt to make the customers happy in anyway. We went to another establishment where we had a great waiter and wonderful service.
The food was great and we left generous tips to show our appreciation. We don't care what race someone is but we do expect proper service, especially at a higher end restraunt.

Waited for almost 2 hrs after arriving to start eating our food.
Preferred solution: Another meal as ordered .Filet with hot mashed potatoes,and salad. Rib eye steak with not overcooked coconut shrimp.baked potato and salad or full refund.

Just Shock and to warn others
We went to the Outback in Cape Girardeau after my nephews game. I should have realized we were in trouble from the start when the hostess couldnt find our reservation when I was just there 20 minutes before.
There were 9 in our group and they didnt even get that right. After being seated and waiting 15 minutes we finally placed our drink orders and went ahead and did dinner too so we didnt have to wait again. The lemonade was awful. But the food..
my word.. First we waited dang near 40 minutes and during that time our waitress kept apologizing but didnt refill a drink. My niece ordered a Caesar salad and her father in law as well, only he wanted extra dressing. They blundered and instead of getting her a new salad the waitress said what?
Is this not a health code violation?! Then my sister food was cold, my nephew asked for medium well and received rare, I asked for medium rare and got hockey puck. The waitress said she would have it recooked.. she neglected to mention they were charging me twice!!
And the final kicker, after all this and the manager was incredibly disrespectful, was so irritated with me that she snatched the recooked meal back. WOW!
Just Wow. I or my family have never and will NEVER visit this restaurant again.

How is your loss $53 if ate the food and state that it was good? In other countries, going out to eat is something people do to be with friends and family and socialize, have a good time and linger over their meals. Americans just want to stuff their faces and leave in 30 minutes.
Hey, they were running late. They wanted to get there at 11 and be done by noon. They had a 4pm early bird buffet hog fest to get to and wanted to be hungry.
