On Christmas Eve day I called the Inverness ,Fl Outback and made a reservation for that evening for a table for two at 6:45. We attended our church candlelight service and timed it so that we arrived 10 minutes early in anticipation of getting our table.
There was no record of our reservation, so we stood for 45 minutes to await an available table. Needless to say, our dinner was not pleasant.
We ordered our food and several moments passed when wespotted an advertisement for the very same entree we had ordered but, it included an appetizer, two sides, salad and dessert for the same price that we paid for just the entree and one side. We both ordered the bourbon salmon and sweet potato. When our server passed our table we pointed this out to her and her response was...that's a lot of food!
Really????? She just shrugged it off without offering to change our order.
Reason of review: Poor customer service.
Monetary Loss: $50.
Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.
