Waited at least 30 minutes to be seated, which was fine as I was made aware of the wait, beforehand. Myself, my son, and 3 grandchildren.
This was an outing for my 6 year-olds birthday. Waited 1 hour for food just to be told , it would be about 50-55 minutes LONGER. Asked to speak to a manager and his resolution was to bring out a bowl of fries (which was enough to feed a 4 year old) until the food came. I also requested a discount for the wait and inconvenience.
Waited 10 minutes for them to bring out 1 bowl of fries, the same ones that come with a meal if you order a side of fries. This was supposed to accommodate 5 people. After waiting another 15, I asked for the corporate number and informed the manager that they could eat the food and shared how degraded I felt about the whole situation.
The manager apologized and stated that he did not know corporate number. The manager allowed this upset customer to leave without offering ANYTHING FOR THE INCONVENIENCE.

I was in the Outback San Bernardino Ca checked in 6:16pm 03/02/24. I was advised that wait would be 30-35 minutes.
After waiting 40 minutes I noticed that people around me were being called. I asked a couple sitting close to us did they have reservations and the answer was no. They had just been advised that there table was being cleaned. This couple arrived after us.
I checked in with the receptionist and was told we checked in at the same time. Of course this was incorrect. We compared and they arrived 5 minutes after us.
People should be called in order of arrival. Not talking about reservations or people with more in their party.

Four of us went to the Outback location in the Aquarius Hotel in Laughlin, NV this evening. None of us will go back again.
The server did only what she had to do. When I asked for a glass of ice for my cocktail that came in a tin we had to ask twice. I wouldnt have thought that I would be expected to pay $7.50 and drink out of a tin. Two of us ordered the Outback burger.what a disappointment.
Neither of us received what we asked for and the girl that brought it to our table couldnt have been more put out when we brought this to her attention. She then served my friend to the right of me.reached right in front of me much closer that I was comfortable withnever even had the courtesy to say excuse me. She was very rude. Our hamburgers were no better than going to a fast food jointeven McDonalds Quarter Pounder is bigger and had much better flavour and trust me Im not a fan of McDonalds food period.
We spent collectively $145 - quite honestly the meals werent worth $10 each. I dont expect that anything will be done about this, but I couldnt leave it without bringing this to your attention. Note that when we receive very good service, I also contact the customer service department to pass on commendations to the restaurant and server.
Our friends had never been to an outback steak house - they wont be returning and nor will we. What a disappointing meal and evening.

I visited the Outback in Hendersonville, N. C.
today, check number 0060a. I paid CASH for my total of $72.58. My complaint is I got $27.00 change. No silver change in the amount of 42 cents.
WHY ??? I was not asked to round up and I saw nowhere that stated you would be rounded up and not get the exact change due. This is not right and I consider it stealing. If i were caught stealing silverware or napkins or glasses or anything else I would be dealt with accordingly.
This practice is unacceptable and should be discontinued. Maybe your people arent smart enough to give the proper change or somebody is making some extra money. I dont think I'll be going back to Outback again and I'll be sure to tell my friends and everybody else of this practice.
Doing this will make you a pretty penny year after year after year. Maybe I should go talk to a lawyer or maybe my Congressman to see what can be done.

Tonight I placed a order at outback on 98 north lakeland at 754pm 2/2/24. At 910pm I called and spoke with Maria and requested an update on my order.
She explained that the order was still at the restaurant and a dasher would deliver it shortly. At 945 I called back bc I still didn't receive my order...again spoke with Maria again and she expressed that she would retrieve the manager to get a dasher...the phone disconnected so I called back. At that time it was Maria again and she said she just got the manager to call a dasher. I then asked to speak with the manager.
I waited for 10 minutes and London answered, he apologized and explained that he reached out to door dash and they had issued out a refund to me of $118, I made him aware that I spent over that amount. He then said that he had no control maybe he misunderstood what the refund was. I was so perplexed at that time bc I didn't order through door dash, I ordered through outback. This was a total low brow customer satisfaction.
I understand things happen...but this was awful!!!
And moreover my family didn't get dinner!!! NEVER RECEIVED ORDER!
A very rube hostess.

Yesterday I tried to place a curbside order online for a doctor client & staff for a meeting & after almost an hour attempt by several people in our office it failed stating we werent putting in correct email address. Our boss was on the road & gave us company card to pay so online was how we needed to get this done.
Well I just decided to order by phone in which after several attempts finally decided to not use curbside option order because no answer & chose to speak to a team member. The young lady was new & said a manager had to take order so put on hold several times until she tried taking order herself. I was trying to be patient & at end tried to give her my credit card info in which she states their system isnt updated & cant take it. Ive spent close to 1 1/2 hours on this at this point so said ok Ill just pay with my personal card when I arrive.
I get there & retrieve bag of items & when getting back to office we are missing the baked potato with the steak & shrimp but was given the condiments for it & no utensils for anyone, as well as No dressing for any of the salads. I frequent Outback regularly but this was pitiful when you spend this type of money on a lunch & the whole experience was a disaster. I tried calling the manager but was put on hold forever.
Ive never in my 55 years EVER complained about any bad service but this put me over the edge, you all can do better than this!! I know the online ordering isnt the store locations fault but answering the phone & leaving out items ordered most definitely is.

If you waited 2 hours for food for a 6 yo’s birthday, you don’t deserve anything.
I expect that coming from someone who maybe doesn’t have children or mistreated them. When you’re a parent or grandparent that wants to honor the child’s request, however, good thing your opinion doesn’t count as it is an idiotic response. And I mean that respectfully.
Oh he most certainly deserved a great birthday dinner. It is just unfortunate that you were there.
Hopefully the parent that is not your son/daughter limits your time and influence on the kids. You sound absolutely horrible.
